  • Guest: The primary purpose of this booking was to use a clawfoot tub. Upon arrival, I realized I had selected the incorrect room type and was informed at check in that the only rooms with tubs were handicap accessible rooms. These rooms were not advertised online as the only option for a bathtub. I requested to view one of these rooms and found it to be in unacceptable condition, which raised concerns about why this option is not disclosed or promoted during booking. We proceeded to check into the originally assigned shower only room. However, the room presented additional issues. The property allows pets, and the room had a strong odor consistent with inadequate cleaning after animals. There was visible hair on the bathroom floor, and during our time in the room, two insects were present and had to be addressed. I contacted the front desk, and we waited over an hour to be relocated. The replacement room was on a higher floor but was a downgrade from our original king suite with a walk-in shower to a standard room with two queen beds and a basic shower. We were offered a $100 hotel credit as compensation. However, because this stay occurred on Christmas Day, the hotel restaurant was closed, rendering the credit largely unusable. The credit could only be applied to valet parking or snacks, which did not reasonably offset the inconvenience experienced.
  • Guest:Every employee we encountered was friendly. No issues there. Valet was quick and easy, pricey as it was $52 for the night. Room was simple modern #703. Appeared to be in an old part of the building and so it was absolutely freezing in the hallways. We had our room set to 76 all night because it was so cold, heat wasn’t consistent at all. Very basic room. No microwave and no coffee machine which was very disappointing but didn’t mention on website that it had one. Did request a view of the city and we ended up with a view of the backside of a dingy building. Drapes were blackout which was nice, room was very clean. Hotel was a great location and would stay there again. Ate breakfast at Betts which was on the premises. It was very good
  • Guest:Everything about the Kimpton Schofield in Cleveland was immaculate. Service, Amenities and the overall cleanliness was exceptional.
  • Guest:Staff is always wonderful at this hotel, and we love coming back here every year. Breakfast at Betts was a great perk, as is cocktail hour.
